Michael's says his influences include Leonard Cohen , Tommy James and Iggy Pop but his style is completely unique. It's a powerful blend of hard-edged acoustic guitar work complimented with his distinctive gritty vocals. His song writing is strong, he writes from the heart and once it's combined with his rhythmic guitar work you can hear & feel the music not only in your ears but in your veins, thru your blood, and into your heart!

The album is packed with hits without any filler including the popular single “I won't give in”, a song full of inspiration and guts and lays down the foundation for the album. “Darkest moment” clearly defines rock and roll with its in your face guitar work. “Hell or high water” takes your imagination on a ride with its haunting music and clever vocals. “I belong to you” is a soundtrack in your mind and “She doesn't mind” is a great pop edged song.
